Georgia has graduated from the Department of Primary Education of University of Crete. She is now attending a Master’s Degree in “Inclusion of students with special needs using new technologies”, undertaken by University of Thrace and the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos”. The reason she became a teacher is because she strongly believes that education is the strongest weapon that we can use to make the world a better place for us and the new generations. She has done an Erasmus+ placement in the International School SEK El Castillo in Madrid and she has worked in summer camps. As she appreciates the value of volunteering, she has volunteered in Charismatheia, an educational organization for gifted students and in other projects for the inclusion of Roma and autistic children in school. Her interests include swimming, reading literature and traveling. She is enthusiastic about the Erasmus+ exchanging programs, because they offer the chance to gain new skills and to get to know people from different cultures, people who have original ideas and beautiful stories to tell. For these reasons, she has already participated in three Erasmus+ programs, in Cyprus, in UK and in Spain and she is always looking forward for new adventures that can help her become an inspiring teacher and personality.
